We Heal Together

an online course to help you heal your past and transform your relationships

I'm ready to heal.

It's not about what happened. It's about the impact it has on your life.

You deserve to have fulfilling relationships.

Most people don’t believe that they have experienced trauma. They say, "well it wasn’t bad enough" or "someone has it worse than me."

You were probably taught that you can only become traumatized by something life threatening. This just isn’t true.

What is traumatizing for one person may not be traumatizing for another.

Your body has to make sense of all those sensations - the sights, sounds, smells, taste, and touch. Then it has to do something with it.

When you don't have enough resources or the body can't make sense of it all, trauma happens.

I want you to know that it’s not about *what* happened, it’s about how it impacted you. If something impacts you, you’re not weak. You’re human.

Things from our past have a way of making it into our present. It may look different, but it probably feels exactly the same.

Maybe you...

  • keep having the same types of relationships
  • keep getting in the same fights with people
  • assume people will treat you the way you've been treated in the past
  • have trouble trusting others
  • have difficulty sharing your feelings with others

Regardless of what happened, you know what it looks like when the past becomes the present.

You know what it feels like when your alarm bells start going off every time someone gets too close.

You know that you don't want to live like this anymore. You want fulfilling, safe relationships.

You deserve it.

This course is for anyone who

  • wants to become more trauma informed (who doesn't!?)
  • wants to become a more supportive friend, family member, or partner
  • would like to learn about how trauma impacts the brain
  • wants to learn how to heal their past and their relationships

If you don't heal from your past, it will impact your present.

let's heal together

Hi, I'm Whitney Goodman.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Florida. You may know me from Instagram as @sitwithwhit.

I am a trauma trained therapist who helps couples and individuals have more satisfying and rewarding relationships in the wake of distressing events. I also own The CCC, a co-working space for wellness and mental health professionals in sunny Miami, FL.

I think most of the information about trauma online and in books is really dense and doesn't provide a lot of real tools. I'm also so limited in what I can share both on Instagram and in my therapy sessions (time and that character limit ugh!!). I wanted to create a platform that provided you with tools and information, without all the psychobabble or high price tag.

I hope this course does just that.

No way. The course is tailored to all kinds of relationships.

You can absolutely do it with someone that you trust or by yourself.

Forever! The course is only open for purchase for 10 days, but once you buy it you have unlimited access.

I use the word trauma in this course to talk about a wide variety of distressing experiences from the past. Even if nothing like this has ever happened to you, I think this course is still really valuable. It will help you learn how to become a better friend to those who have had these experiences.

$29.99, it's a steal honestly.

No. This course is meant to provide you with information and skills.

This course is not a substitute for ‘treatment’ in the formal clinical sense (which is provided by qualified health professionals). It is a resource that will provide you with the skills to recognize signs of trauma and how to engage with others in an empathic and respectful way. The information in this course applies to the process of talking about trauma in a non clinical sense. At the end of the course, I included a bonus module on how to find a trauma trained professional in your area if you would like this type of support.
